| well if all goes to plan i will be closing this xanga site down soon. in its place im planning to open two separate sites, one for personal use and the other for ministerial stuff. in other words...
my plan is to post weekly scripture readings, messages based on those readings, commentaries, inspirational readings, etc. basically this is me trying to minister to everybody that i cant physically be with (hint, hint). youll be able to leave comments, questions, thoughts, etc.
however, all personal comments will need to be made at the personal site. dont worry im gonna subscribe to everybody once i get both sites up and running.
okay well thats all i got for now, love you all lots and lots!
| Okay well I just read Laura's post on the ACL Festival so I guess I should probably tell my version of the story. First let me say that it was freakin AWESOME and I'm planning on making the ACL Festival an annual event from now on.
On to the music! Outdoor concerts are the only way to go! Just being able to sit back enjoy the evening air and relax while listening to some of the best music ever was one of the best experiences of my life. The Allman Brothers Band, the Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, the Black Keys, Oasis, etc.
The Allmans rocked! It was so cool to see this band that has influenced me in so many ways. Seeing them was worth the price of admission. I'd have to say that the Black Keys (who are a guitarist/singer and drummer... thats it!) were my second favorite. Two guys making that much noise! Amazing!
The big surprise for me was Oasis. When Oasis first cam out I didn't like them cause they were so popular, but let me tell you the Brothers Gallagher can ROCK! I mean they were really good! They did a rockin version of the Who's "My Generation" that was awesome!
Anyway, long story short, I can't wait until next year! Laura and I talked about it and we're gonna try to get more people to go with us (Sarah, keep your schedule open). The ACL Festival will change your life!
| Hey All!
I've been busy with trying to catch up on school work that I didn't get finished (or even started for that matter) last week. I'm actually feeling kinda stressed, but oh well, I know I'll get it done.
I talked to Geoff the other day and asked him if I could go to FallFest this weekend and he said yeah. So I'm really excited about that! It'll be a good time. I can't wait to see some of the kids.
Next week Laura and I are going to the Austin City Music Festival. Some of the bands playing include the Allman Brothers Band, the Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, Gov't Mule, and the list goes on and on.
Anyway, love and miss you all.
Chow!

| Today wasn't a bad day. I just know however that before this week is through I'm gonna be stressed about the philosophy paper I have to do. Oh well. I went to Chickasha yesterday hung out with Laura and spoke with someone from FCC Chickasha about the YM opening there. I'm gonna interview with them soon hopefully. I'll keep ya apprised of the situation. That's about all I've got going on right now. Really looking forward to the ACL Festival in Austin. Hopefully Laura and I will take some good pics I can post later. | | |
